Don’t remove OneNote from Office 365
Rumour has it that Microsoft is planning to remove OneNote 2016 from the Office 365 suite and only keep the new Windows app instead.
That is a major problem for me, and presumably for anyone else using OneNote professionally. The functionality is totally different, there is to many functions missing from the app and it is not sufficient for professional work at all. The only thing that the app does better is handwriting while expanded to full screen (since the menus for changing writing tools is still visible) but the overall functionality is way beyond OneNote 2016.
I want the OneNote 2016 to stay in the Office 365 suite until the app has the same level of functionality!

So, I was directed here by o365 Tech support because my users are having two large problems when printing to the Win 10 OneNote app that ARE NOT a problem when printing to the OneNote 2016 application. After many days wasted and in the end getting no support, they sent me here.
On top of them forcing us to use an inferior product and taking OneNote out of the o365 suite.. They now require you to call Windows Tech support and open a paid $495 support case to get help with OneNote because it is no longer part of my paid o365 support.
I can't think of a better way to ***** over your paying customers. We have been o365 paying customers since it began. We are now heavy into Teams and SharePoint and o365 Groups etc. OneNote is HIGHLY integrated into all these o365 experiences but now suddenly they make us use an inferior, outside app and then at the same time force us out of being able to get support?!! I can't even add up the $100K's we have paid over the years and continue to pay to MS. This is unacceptable!
Keep OneNote! The app is cr-app!
