Allow administrators to set a default time zone for new and migrated exchange users.
Same as title, please allow for domain admins to set the default time zone for Exchange Online users. Many of our new and migrated users are having issues when logging in after an account migration or creation because they may "login" for the first time through an application such as Apple Mail. MS Mail or MS Outlook, which doesn't display the set time zone prompt. This also causes confusion when migrating a user and receiving an error or success message from 3 hours in the future.
As a School this is very difficult for students to set their time zone on first account creation, we have no users outside of our City.

Please just let us set this for a default value. It is pretty silly that we cannot as people have been trying to build work arounds since 2014 or so... Users are confused and just hit OK at the first prompt, setting the wrong time zone then complain when the time is wrong. Multiple this by hundreds of accounts...
Yes that whould be nice. Now every new user has to login in OWA (which they don't do when they have outlook. Then all folder names are english. Please add time zone selection when creating a user or for tenant (all users!).

There should be tenant default setting for time zone and web ui should just read it and suggest it by default to new users. It is easy to implement.
Microsoft is very good at ignoring good feedback. Office is such an overpriced garbage product

Seconded. I have 2000 users at a school in Sydney who never change timezone. About to migrate them all to O365 form hybrid. Painful for young pupils.
Most people skip the setup and then have the wrong timezone, we really should be able to set this default. Also HYBRID USERS DO NOT get that prompt, so then it just sets it the -8gmt by default.
Yes, I agree. Not every company is world-wide. Many have all the users in one time zone. It would be so nice to just set the time zone in Admin Console and not have the users have to manually set it themselves and make a mistake.
Yes, please allow Admin to set the default language and default time zone for all current and new users. This will prevent the user from making a mistake. They don't need to select it when first going into OWA. It should already be setup by admin as defaults.
