Add the "Manage Rules" Function in Conditional Formatting for Excel Online.
Now that conditional formatting is available in Excel Online, there is no way to view or edit the rules that are already in effect. Normally (offline) you can highlight a range of cells and then select "Manage Rules" from the Conditional Formatting drop down menu. As it is right now you can only clear all the rules or add new rules, but there is no way to modify existing rules or view the formulas for existing rules. This is very frustrating!

Looks like this has now been implemented.

MS is so slow to respond to UI deficiencies.
Minimum Viable Products. Definitely not Minimum Lovable Products. -

Until MS can replicate existing functionality they should not publish this as a working product

We can add this to the litany of reduced functionality that Office online gives us. I spent ages creating conditional formats, but when I shared it with colleagues the sheet does not display any of my formats in the online version. Just like in Word, where the text wrap options for in-line graphics are much reduced, we are being sold a lesser product. I am still having to keep desktop versions of Office running, and we cant and wont fully migrate to On line. Indeed, we migrate away from Office completely!

Not much to add really that hasn't already been said. It is truly rubbish Microsoft, Google Sheets is far superior in every way.

I was so relieved when I saw that excel was online so I could finally recreate a teaching method for heat transfer that relies on conditional formatting. But it looks like they didn't make it accessible to excel and two years later they've done nothing for it...I guess this project is out the window...

Why are the online versions of Microsoft office apps so limited? We just switched from Google sheets and docs, and I feel like I am totally hobbled. Cannot edit conditional formatting rules - have to clear them and start over, cannot select anything but 5 preset color combos. Forms to Excel is cludgy (adds unwanted columns you cannot remove, cannot edit form and rearrange columns, etc.) Really? Microsoft, please play around with Google's version of online apps and then upgrade yours accordingly.

I agree. This is terrible. Makes me want to go back to Google Docs asap. I can't even create a new custom rule. All I can do is clear rules. The existing rules that I already had worked, but there is no way to edit those or add any new ones.
