allow better customization on new app launcher - add or remove icons, move etc
The recent improvements to app launcher actually made customization worse. Allow full control on the items to add or remove apps that you don't use, pin and unpin all icons.

This is possible with Workspace 365 by New Day at Work. It is a digital workspace which uses the power of Office 365 to enable single sign-on to both web- and Windows applications (remote desktop). Next to this, it allows you to make (live) tiles available on someones dashboard depending on their (group) permissions.
For what it's worth, I also found this related post which has the most votes and seems to be where the most feedback is:
As an example of my comment below regarding initial -- but not permanent -- customization by tenant, see this request:
Agreed. I understand starting with a default set of supposedly 'most used/wanted', but the user should have final say over which ones they do or don't use. At the very least, this option should be something each tenant should have the right to implement or not. Some tenants may want certain items required, particularly for custom apps, but allow users to choose the rest.
Agreed, we should also be able to rearrange icons and put custom apps at the top - as well as Update Credentials
