Highlighted Content Web Part -> allow Multiple Filters based on "And" rather than "Or"
Currently the Highlighted Content Web Part allows you to filter based on more than one Managed Properties. That's great, however, when you select more than one property it displays all documents tagged with EITHER property, rather than displaying only documents that are tagged with BOTH properties.
For example, I have a library with tags for: Department, and Document Type. I want to display these documents on a HCWB in my Communication Site. I only want to display Budget documents from the Finance department. But I can't do that, I can only display all documents tagged with Budget AND all documents tagged with Finance.
This is a really basic functionality that I really need. Please fix ASAP

A better approach might be a freetext KQL field in advanced mode.

Perhaps there some use cases OR make sense but the most of them require an AND join. I can only agree to Sylvie this must be provided as soon as possible.

When is this going to happen? I honestly cannot understand how Communication Sites are a viable product without it.

The HCWP behaviour is rather odd. If you use a managed property filter with a filter using Title or Created then it does an AND join. As you say, use two managed property filters and it does an OR join. Ideally, we would have he option for the type of join. If not, the consistent use of AND would be preferable. After all, this is how search refiners work on a search results page.

I would love to see a way to set AND or OR in the Highlighted Contents filter mechanism. I want to filter News to prioritize or funnel some News sources vs. others in our landing page, e.g. block 2 news sources in one area of the page, and show only those 2 in another area.
