Outlook search failure requires reinstallation of Office 365
This is the 2nd time I have encountered this issue with Outlook search. It just stops working. After following all the troubleshooting steps I finally arrive at the point when I have to uninstall and reinstall Office 365 in its entirety. This has happened to 2 other people who are my clients and it eventually caused them to abandon Office altogether after being loyal Office users for decades. This time I was also told that I will need to create a new user profile after the fresh install to ensure that there are no issues across profiles. Uninstalling and reinstalling is not a viable solution. The amount of time this takes to go through this process is a heavy burden. Can't the Office team sort this out? There is obviously a bug somewhere and this has been going on for over a year.
