Enable/Disable Birthday Calendar and Holidays Calendar by Admin User
Currently Birthday Calendar and Holidays Calendar are able to be set by each users.
But Admin User also prefers to set instead of users.
The additional feature that Admin User can set each calendars to enable/disable by Windows PowerShell Cmdlet will be an ideal function.
In this way, Admin User can set the calendars to several users at once.
This feedback is based on a customer voice from support SR.
I would love to know when this change happens. I can't stand the Birthday Calendar. I have 3 inboxes in addition to my own that I have to monitor, so now I have 6 extra Calendars listed in my left menu that I would like to disappear.
We are using small displays at our conference rooms entries. Which display upcoming appointments.
Everytime there's a public holiday the display marks the conference room as blocked. You need to know that germanies federal states could have different public holidays. Where the day could be a normal work day in ones federal state.
So it would be nice to disable the additional calendars especially for resource mailboxes.

Agree, there needs to be a way for admins to be able to turn this off within the tenancy. In most corporate environments such features are unnecessary.
I too need to be able to disable calendars using Powershell or the administrative portal.
I have contacted Microsoft support, and it appears this feature is not available at this time. I want the ability or admins should have the ability to turn off birthday calendars and holidays calendars. Options like on by default, off by default, off completely. . In my case all my users have it on.
