Release a solution for synchronizing the SharePoint Online Team Site's document library with NAS devices
I would like to see a release of the ability to synch the sharepoint document library of a team site with a NAS device such as a Synology NAS. Currently Synology has an application called "Cloud Sync" but this only works for OneDrive and not SharePoint. Being able to synch the document library with a NAS will provide seemless collaboration for both users on-premis as well as those working remotely, accross several branches worldwide.

I am not seeing any update on this from Microsoft on this.
If anyone has a solution it would be greatly appreciated if you could contact me.
Agreed, but this is probably a job for the NAS provider.
Must have. Need this urgently.

I totally agree that this would be super useful.
But I am pretty sure that Synology needs to add the option to their product.
Maybe someonfe from MS can comment on the required API and if the infrastructure is ready.

Agreed. This would allow us to move off of our 3rd party storage provider to SharePoint.
Hey dudes ! This is not part of job to be done by Microsoft BUT by the NAS provider apps.
Synology must add into they cloud sync app a sharepoint profile possibility.

For our organization to fully embrace Sharepoint we need the ability to sync our local NAS with our Sharepoint Team Site's Document Library. Currently, we can back up our NAS to the Library using the Sharepoint Migration Tool's incremental backup capability. However, until we have bi-directional sync, Sharepoint is of limited usefulness to our organization, as we are not ready to fully migrate to the cloud. It is our hope that Microsoft will address this issue in the near future.
