Project Tile on App Launcher (Waffle) should allow multiple instances like other Office 365 tiles do!
The Project tile in the O365 app launcher SHOULD function like the other O365 tiles (especially the SharePoint Online or OneDrive tiles) in the App Launcher; It should allow multiple PWA site instances to be accessed through the single tile:
Like the SPO tile, it could sort them into "followed", "frequent" "suggested" and "all". Since they are tied to site collections, this behavior seems the most intuitive.
Or, like the OneDrive tile, it could sort them into the user's own "files" (projects) as well as those that have been "shared with me" (projects where the user is a resource).
Even functioning like a client app like many of the other O365 tiles do (i.e.,Word Online, Excel Online, PowerPoint Online) and listing recently opened files on the left would be better that the current straight redirect to a single PWA instance (especially when the user may not have access to that instance).
Having the Admin and end-users create custom tiles to point to only the PWA instances the individual end-user is not a viable solution.
> It is time-consuming
> It is also very impractical given the varied range of end-users' knowledge, skills, and (most significantly) patience.
> It is inefficient given the high volume of end-users who use Project in our organization.
> Also, since each custom tile would only point to one instance, multiple custom tiles would need to be created for end-users who have access to multiple PWA instances.
I know similar suggestions have been made on the Project UserVoice, but this suggestion belongs HERE, as it concerns O365 App Launcher behavior.
