Add English (non-US) for spell check in Office Online products
After speaking to support, I've been told that Office Online uses the <company>-my.sharepoint.com language settings, which only support "English" without variants, which appears to be US English. Please add support for the other variants of English which appear in your full products.
My language is set to UK/NZ English and I have deleted any reference to US English, but yet the Microsoft programs keep correcting to US English. The only work around I have found is to bring up the spelling dialogue and to manually adjust it to the English (NZ/UK) for each and every word it checks the spelling of in my document. This is tedious and defeats the purpose of the spell checker (to semi automate the correction of misspelled words).
