Outlook 2016 Needs to handle Sharepoint attachments better
SharePoint attachments are sent as links by default. This causes tons of problem sharing files with external users as we only get an access warning after the file has been sent.
If a listed email recipient is not authorized to access the file/document, Outlook should warn PRIOR to sending the email and give more options for how to handle (invite the recipient as signed in user with same email, magic link, or attach as copy).
Also, external users should be restricted to the version/revision of the file they were sent unless explicitly allowed to see updates. A document modified after the email was sent may contain information not meant for that recipient. I would even like to see the ability to set time limits for external users to access linked documents.

Can these Outlook One Drive attachments be sent as a link instead of a cloud attachment using Outlook Mail in Office 365?
