Share multiple files from OneDrive or SharePoint
It would be great if we could select files in OneDrive or SharePoint, and 'share' them simultaneously, to avoid having to create a folder in which to group files to be shared.

Adding my request for this too, but after over 4 years of people asking, I don't think it's going to get implemented any time soon. Shame.

What part of SharePoint did I not understand this is ridiculous...you can share but only one file at a time!!! Seriously?

How can this be a feature in Onedrive personal but not in Onedrive business. If i have 500 images but i wish to share only 2, i'd have to create a separate folder just for the 2 and then share it. If i have another combination of images, i'd have to create separate folder for all of these files and then share them. Imagine the amount of redundancy. This is ridiculous considering the fact sharing multiple files simultaneously without the need to share a folder is a feature already available on a less costly variant of your product but not in a pricier one, aimed at businesses. Fix this Microsoft.

Hello,
please note that sharing multiple files at the same time is not available for OneDrive for work or school accounts so if you this type of account then you can not try to share multiple files.
Otherwise, you can share multiple files by selecting the circle in the upper corner where you choose the multiple file

I would hope that this gets the attention it deserves, a file sharing program should have the ability to export a spreadsheet of shareable links!

I can't believe this is still not available and that MS are suggesting "Create a folder and share that" after spending years encouraging customers not to create folder structures! face palm bang head on desk!!!

Could not believe that this feature is not part of standard. Only when searching the web, we realized that something useful is really missing.

I've given 3 votes for this. I really hope MS works on this. It would make cloud collaboration work so much more effective.
I've taken the idea further, and added an idea about being able to share multiple files from multiple locations.
Please also vote for this idea if you still have some votes left. Here is the link to my idea: https://office365.uservoice.com/forums/264636-general/suggestions/41561131-create-a-sharing-clipboard-where-multiple-files
I have also linked back to this idea in my idea in the hope that we can gather momentum for this together.

Unbelievable that this is still not possible. As a result, it now takes unnecessary time to share documents, the inbox of the people you want to share with, becomes unnecessarily full and it is now not clear to the recipient that documents are related. in this way you are almost forced to send multiple documents outside Sharepoint via e-mail or for example WeTransfer.

Been thinking about this issues since the fruitation of onedrive and sharepoint. Would be good if this is implemented as soon as possible.

This feature is very needed. Especially for SharePoint online. Also a feature must be implemented to share multiple links to sharepoint file in one e-mail at the same time.

Need this feature implemented for many of our clients, please.

This seems so obvious I could not believe I did not find how to do it. I spent quite a long time searching for it online.
Try th Dropbox add on for gmail on chrome. I want just that. It's simple and perfect (recent files, explorer, search bar. what else?)
It's the only thing the make me stay with Dropbox despite having 1TO on Onedrive. -

The current workflow has two options: share each file individually, or create a new folder and share the folder. Neither of the current workflow options are good.
We should be able to click multiple files and simultaneously share them. That's a simple feature.

And please, as one of the options, allow sharing multiple files as attachments to desktop Outlook (not only Outlook on the web). Desktop Outlook has some third party add-ins critical to our business workflows.

Yes, please fix this, it's embarrassing when i am tutoring clients who i move to Microsoft 365 and in File Explorer i have to make a folder and move files into that folder just to be able to share those files because i can't select multiple BUT you can do it on OneDrive Personal. That is absurd. Most if not all clients want to use File Explorer, not the web version of OneDrive so stop trying to force them to do something they don't want to do............ Where have i heard that before..........
Update - I thought you could do it in Web Version but you can't there either so please just fix this

I work for national governing body of sport, we capture short video clips of particular events, align them with data of these events in a document library then export to excel to share with all our stakeholders. Currently we have to add the share with anyone link to every event, on average there is 200 a week. I will be moving to another product shortly if Microsoft refuse to address this issue.
