Allow users to edit their personal info
Under Office 365 settings > Personal info, only admins can change their own details.
I understand this is restricted to prevent abuse. However, organizations should be given the freedom to choose whether or not to lift this restriction. I suggest an additional option/rule under Exchange's user roles.
Please also add the field "Title" to the Personal info section if it's not the currently displayed "Occupation".

Individual users should be allowed to change their info.

Please allow users to edit personal info within organizations. As it stands now, the email address is the only thing that is editable, and it should be exactly the other way 'round - users should not be able to edit email address, but should be allowed to edit all other information on the Personal Information Section. To burden administrators with anything but the email address is counter-productive.

This is soo ridicules. why the users can not update their personal information???
I don't need to update all users on monthly basis while they should be able to edit their personal information. beside I don't have time for this.please Fix this!!!

Anyone notice Microsoft rarely, if ever, comments on suggestions? They also limit our votes to 10 which is absurd, like we only have 10 legit ideas. This forum is for PR only, they don't actually care enough to do anything with it. Whenever support sends me here for issues, I stop them mid-sentence and tell them to stop wasting my time. ZERO ideas I've +1'd have been implemented in 8 years of 365.

This is ridiculous that users cannot update all the fields in their personal info, I am getting complaints that job titles etc are out of date, but with 180 users I do not have the time to be checking and updating each one.

I agree this needs to be an option! I have too many users and too little time to do it myself.

Very Necessary! I only have 20 users to support however even at that size it is cumbersome to contact every user and get updated information.

This is necessary! We don't have time for an IT Admin to update everyone's phone numbers and addresses. It would be great if an employee could update their own card information and that syncs with the AD.

I've been told to correct any information, ie phone numbers and emergency contacts etc. to my profile. The problem is that they have not given me that option. Would be nice if someone knew what or who is to do this.............

If the user has a mailbox, they can go to OWA, click on the gear icon, go to MAIL settings>General>My Account.
There, they can edit their Address, all phone / fax numbers, display name [i.e. Joe Mama - Accounting Manager] All this without any extra permissions. -

As an Admin with just 30 staff, I do not have the time to edit their personal information. We need to have the user do this.

I believe it should be optional and up the organization to allow or not. For the ideal situation would be to disable the AD sync of the fields for office telephone, mobile telephone, fax, home phone etc. After these field are disabled, the individual users should be able to update these field over web outlook.
