allow Sway files to be saved into a SharePoint library
By allowing a Sway to be saved as a file in a document library, these files would benefit from a lot of features already built into SharePoint. These benefits include security trimming (inheriting permissions that aren't managed independently) and metadata (for search, sorting, filtering etc) just to mention a few!

I agree. Sway documents do not adhere to SharePoint permissions!

This would be a tremendous upgrade to Sway. We do not want to direct our employees to a general Sway site...we want to direct our employees to our Newsletter list, or our Training document list, or our Performance Board list, etc. I guess if I could find a way to create folders in the location where my Sways are stored, I could function like that, but I don't even see THAT option. Really, Microsoft, sometimes I don't think your software engineers understand how the people in the real world actually work and use software. You just create things to be creating and put it out in the public domain hoping people like it.
That is a good idea. I would also like to see the save location to be the USER's OneDrive.
