I suggest you ...

Add the ability to disable "Request to reset user's password" email notifications.

Please allow companies to disable the "Request to reset user's password" notification's if password resets are disabled in Office 365. We have internal processes in place for employee password resets and our Office 365 administrators are not typically involved.

The best solution would be a custom message that companies could display to employees who attempt to reset their passwords in O365 - this way the employee would be notified about the correct reset process.

    For the love of god please do this, or at least let us blackhole it to a single dummy email. Every admin gets spammed by these and employees think we are ignoring requests becuase they don't follow instructions in the first place

    Since the email notification does not request additional information from the user, there is no way to contact the user to send a temporary password. Being able to customize the link the user is sent to (our internal help ticket system), would be ideal.

    This would be very beneficial for our institution as well and would help reduce confusion for students and employees alike.

    I see this was posted in 2016 and here we are in 2018 still waiting.
    Any news on when this might happen?

    This would be great, or at least an option to link to another site if we have an on site system to do this.

    This is a huge issue for us. Causes a lot problems with our end users, and frustration with our help desk.

    If you use DirSync, just set a single, dummy account to pwd admin role and that should take all the bogus requests away from user admin and global admin. O365 will send in that order. I too agree this should be more configurable given other pwd architectures.

    yes the ability to turn off the password request emails, direct them to a central account and add a custom message would be great for DirSync customers.
