Enable private messages download to Outlook from a shared mailbox
If a shared mailbox receives a message marked as private, this message is visible by users only if they log on into OWA.
Oulook won't download the message so the users don't know if a private message has been received from the shared mailbox.
Please enable the download of that kind of message from Outlook.

In our case, our users see unread message count, but do not see the messages. Support gave me the work around of converting to regular mailbox, as the licensed user, setup Outlook, set delegation with private enabled, convert back to shared mailbox, which worked. The problem is that it is mostly a manual process and I have almost 200 shared mailboxes.
Please put a request into the developers to include an option to allow administrators to allow private messages to be delivered to shared mailboxes in Outlook. It can even be off by default if there are security questions.

Yes I have the same issue and especially with career mailboxes this is really an issue. I have had applicants sending job applications with the flag private and then we wouldn't see the application!
