  1. Automatically updating External references (links) for excel workbooks stored on SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business

At the moment, External references will not update until the source workbook is closed and reopened, this does not work for many people who need their changes to be live if they have multiple people working in a workbook at any one time, or for those that are testing values but do not want to commit to a change

  2. Symbolic Links should be created when OneDrive is protecting important folders like Desktop, Pictures and Documents

Adding the feature to protect important folders with OneDrive was a great idea. However, the current implementation can be confusing when saving files using various applications or using a command-line.

For example, the c:\users\*username*\Desktop folder still exists separately from the c:\users\*username*\OneDrive\Desktop folder and can still be saved to. This creates instances of confusion where files may seem to be missing from OneDrive or may save to the incorrect location.

To resolve this, I suggest when OneDrive protects important folders that the corresponding original folders turn into Symbolic Links to the OneDrive location.

  3. Allow users to export Sharepoint Wiki pages as word documents or PDF.

OtherMost enterprise Wikis (like Atlassian Confluence) allow you to simply export your wiki page or pages as PDF/Word Documents. This would be a very useful addition to sharepoint wikis.

Managing official documentation/processes/procedures/plans in word documents and attaching those word documents to a sharepoint site is a much more cumbersome process than simply making the wiki page the documentation. The information becomes much more accessible and you avoid having multiple versions of documents floating around as email attachments or on file shares etc...

Our adoption of sharepoint wiki for this purpose is being limited by our inability to export documents to…

  5. The Teams WhoBot is nice, but could be so much more useful. I'd like to see it query the Delve profile

The Teams WhoBot (Who) has a lot of potential. As it is today, it seems to use data posted to Teams for the "Who knows about..." function. The problem we have on the IT Support side of things are the people who post a lot about "SQL performance" are asking questions (and racking up the post count), and not subject matter experts. The experts rarely reply with "I know about SQL performance", and WhoBot really doesn't know who the experts are.
We've also started exploring if we can leverage Delve's Profile - expertise, education (i.e. certificates), hobbies, skills, and projects.…

  6. Microsoft Stream: transcript to other languages, as portuguese (PT-PT and PT-BR)

Today is only possible transcript a video to English and Spanish. It should be possible transcript to other languages as well. If Microsoft has Azure translation services that already translate content to a lot of laguages, I don't understand why is not available in the transcription service of Microsoft Stream yet.

  7. Azure Active Directory admin center: Allow sorting report columns by date/ip/etc

The Azure Active Directory admin center has useful reports in the "Risky Sign-ins" category, such as "Sign-ins from unfamiliar locations". However, it is sorted by last name, and last name only. One cannot easily correlate data *and* resolve items or mark them as false positives if the columns cannot be sorted by IP, date, or location.
While one can download the report and open it with Excel, and then sort columns, it doesn't make the chore of resolving the items any easier.
"Sign-ins from unfamiliar locations" is but one of these reports that can't be sorted. Other ones are "Impossible travel…

  8. Which is the best OST to PST Converter software?

For a quick solution to convert OST to PST file, one can try an OST to PST conversion software. There are lots of third party software available in the market, which can do this task, Kernel for OST to PST Converter is such a comprehensive software. The software also helps to fix OST errors and recover stored Outlook mailbox items. 9. Please Please Please create Microsoft office 365 for Linux

Linux is only lacking one thing. Microsoft Office. I understand that having Linux with Microsoft office suit would possibly lower the amount of people using Windows. But the with the amount of people that use Linux in universities and businesses, this would be a cash flow for Microsoft. People are already on Linux would jump to have Microsoft's office suit on Linux, I have talked to many people that would love to have this software on Linux.

  10. Microsoft teams to support the guest inviter role of Azure AD.

I need to limit who can invite guest users to Microsoft Teams.
But currently, Teams doesn't support the guest inviter role.
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/teams-dependencies
I hope to Teams support the guest inviter role of Azure AD at ASAP.

  11. PowerApps to be Published without additional licenses for users outside my organisation.

I am an Office365 premium enterprise user. We started to use powerapps to streamline external suppliers/workers.
However, our external users need to all buy licenses to USE the PowerApps we have developed with out content. Our users are all Office365 after we asked them to go there.
We are considering abandoning the platform as the content we created can't be used.
Requirement of licenses to Use/Run an app that we have already paid an license to create is bad practice Microsoft and is underhand double charging. Please address this critical issue.

  13. app launcher menu

Allow users to unpin any app from the App Launcher menu. Currently the Outlook, OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint, Teams, and Yammer apps are permanently pinned to the launcher, and many of our internal users would prefer to remove the apps they don't typically use to make more room for the apps they do use to appear, as well as de-clutter this menu of items that individuals do not find useful in their daily work.

  14. Teams chat. Please improve the exteranal chat communication

Teams chat. Please improve the external chat communication.

When an internal user wants to CHAT (using the chat tab) with someone externally to his organization what happens is:

    - If this external user has already Teams you can speak with him directly.
    - If he doesn't. The internal user receives a message like this "We are unable to set up the conversation because the contact you entered wasn't found. Chat not available". So the internal user has to invite this user as a guest using "Teams" tab and once the user is federated and categorized as a Guest user you…

  15. Make Add-Ins unavailable when they are not deployed by the Admin

We have a requirement that Office AddIns should not be accessible for the user unless it is "trusted" by our Enterprise for data Regulation reasons. The O365 Admin Center offers such a Feature, see https://support.office.com/en-us/article/manage-deployment-of-office-365-add-ins-in-the-office-365-admin-center-737e8c86-be63-44d7-bf02-492fa7cd9c3f.

But we have following behaviour: If you block access to the Addin Stors with the "Let People in your organization go to the Office Store" Setting and deploy certain apps, the whole store is accessible again to the user. The User is also able to download addins that have not been deployed by the admin, but he is unable to use it. This is…

  16. Check all files permission when a folder is deleted !

In a SharePoint document library, in Office 365, a user can delete a folder if he has the collaborate rules in it. So it's, but if there is one more files int it without permission for this user, this one can delete the folder and all files ares saved in it.
It's necessary to prevent massive deletion and human error, to inform or block the user, when he delete a folder which contain files with no permission for he.

  17. Add Zoom connector to Microsoft Flow

As Microsoft is planning to deprecate Skype for Business in coming year, can Zoom Connector be added to the supported list of connectors for Microsoft Flow ?

Our company is encouraging Zoom usage & we would like to use the same with MS flow.

  18. Allow locked files and track changes in the collaboration features of Word Online.

We use templates to standardize our deliverables to clients. To do this, we lock the available styles and force track changes by protecting the file with a password. Unfortunately, this is not supported in Word Online. The online collaboration tools work very well, but really should support collaboration with these types of simple constraints. I get it if you exclude this from a lesser license, but if you are paying for the desktop licenses (ex. E5), you should not have limitations with the online product.

  19. Allow for searching int Microsoft Teams wiki pages.

Microsoft Teams can search through documents and conversations. It cannot however search through the wiki that I have created for my team. We updated and placed all of our companies policy updates only to find out that there is no way to search for content. How can we get the contents to be searchable?

  20. Enable full (Locally Installed) 'Document Property Fields' functionality in Word Online

Currently in Word Online 'Document Property Fields' are very limited:
    - Document property fields are not being populated from the connected SharePoint column.
    EXCEPTIONS:
    # If document is open in Word 2016 and saved, then Word Online will show updated fields
    # Fields can be viewed in 'Reading Mode' but once switched back to 'Edit', the fields will display as empty again.
    # Document Property Fields that are inside 'Shapes' get updated all the time like they should

    - Existing Document Property Fields, cannot be DELETED or EDITED from the document while in Word Online
