  1. Linux support

I will in the future use both Linux and Windows pc at work. The lack of real linuxsupport is a problem. Please support LInux in onedrive/sharepoint.
Hopefully also a office 365 package for linux would help

  2. Offer Options for the Office 365 Ribbon Appearance

I am disappointed with the appearance of the new Office 365 ribbon. I use a desktop and a laptop and find the monotone look and the over simplistic icons confusing and hard to read. These look like changes, just for the sake of change.
Options to revert to earlier versions that users were familiar with, would have been appreciated.

  3. Add an option for MS Stream to export the transcript to Word/Excel

I would like to have the option to export the Microsoft Stream video transcript to other filetypes (with appropriate formatting), such as Word or Excel. Perhaps the Word export would be a running paragraph of text with no timestamps, whereas the Excel export could be two columns. In column A, we could have the timestamp; in column B, we would have the text of that phrase.

This, and any other exports, would be greatly helpful!

  4. Teams Secondary Ringer

As Teams replaces Skype for Business it is critical that we have the secondary ringer functionality added to the Teams desktop app. Most of our users are using a head set for communication and can't hear the phone ring. Setting PC speaker as default isn't an option as there are numerous websites these days with auto play videos and we don't want other PC sounds constantly playing in the office.

  5. Share PowerApps with Office 365 Groups

Office 365 Groups (aka: "unified-groups") are becoming the "standard" share target in Office 365. You can share SharePoint content (files, list items, etc.) with an O365 Group. You can share Microsoft Stream content with an O365 Group. You can share a Flow with an O365 Group. You CANNOT, however, share a PowerApp with an O365 Group. This is a huge issue and greatly complicates our job of "selling" PowerApps as a solution.

For example, we've successfully convinced a LOT of our client groups that an O365 Group is a better solution than "just" a SharePoint site (most of these had…

  6. Planner App file attachment default save location setting per plan

Add a setting to the planner application to be able to set the default location attachment files are saved. Currently attachments uploaded are saved in the root folder of the SP site that hosts the plan. If the plan was created thru a Teams Channel the attachments get saved in the root Documents folder of the Team which results in a mess especially across multiple channel plans.

  7. Resize columns in Contents (site contents) for SharePoint Online

There is no ability to resize the columns in the Contents (site contents) page. So for any apps, libraries or lists that have a title (name) with a decent amount of characters it gets cut off and it's hard to quickly tell what the title is. We have sites with numerous document libraries with long names where it takes a long time to pinpoint a particular library. You have to hover over the title on each library to get the full name. We should have the same functionality as you do when in a list or library where you can…

  8. Enable external users to use Approvals in Flow

As explained by Microsoft Office365 Support, the template Approvals in Flow does not allow external users to interact with the full process. An external user can access a SharePoint site (e.g. to browse an item list) but he/she cannot press the button Approve/Reject in the email created by the Approval process in Flow. This restriction "by design" is negative for companies like ours where we handle approvals of documents by colleagues who work for different subsidiaries (=every subsidiary a different Office365 tenant) and therefore it is impossible to manage flow inside such organization.

  9. Change the ribbon icons back to how they were!

The new ribbon icons are terrible!

They are very low contrast and I'm having trouble working out which is which!

There's very little colour and it's really hard to differentiate between similar icons. I have 'set print area' and 'preview and print' next to each other and there's no difference aside from a thin blue line on set print area.

Please provide the option to change back to the previous icons or the ability to select from high contrast or low contrast.

  10. Need to support Task Lists for modern pages

When creating a task list in SharePoint, the modern list view doesn't appear to support the timeline feature, unless you are in editing mode. Furthermore, if I wanted to show tasks on a modern page, I cannot leverage the out of the box functionality to add that app to a page (think department or project sites). With the classic mode of tasks lists outweighing modern features for tasks lists, can this be added to the roadmap?

  11. Forwarding of calendar appointments from a DMARC projected domain fail when using Office 365

When receiving a calendar appointment from a DMARC protected domain (domain1) and forwarding this appointment to another domain through domain2 this results in an NDR.

550 5.7.23 The message was rejected because of Sender Policy Framework violation -> 550 5.7.1 rejected by DMARC policy for <domain>

The forwarding adds a Sender header so the message is send as <domain2> on behalf of <domain1>.

But uses the authentication (SPF+DKIM) of domain2 to send as domain1.

This violates the DMARC specification as the message now originates from domain2 but the From address (which is used by DMARC) is stil set on domain1.

  12. Add the functionality for the ADFS ESL Banned IP list to auto subscribe to a 365 RBL list for malicious IPs

Can you add the functionality for the ADFS ESL (External Smart Lockout) Banned IP list to auto subscribe to a 365 RBL list for malicious IPs. This will stop the need for Admins to have to manually add the Banned IPs to the ADFS ESL Banned IP list.

  13. Add "Tag for Status Change Alerts" feature to Teams

I find the "Tag for Status Change Alerts" feature in Skype for Business to be very useful. I mainly use this to get an alert when someone becomes available so I can pounce on them quickly! Can this be added to Teams?

  14. Exchange Online change default calendar permissions on new users

When mailbox is generating at Exchange Online we need to have the possibility to set default calendar permissions from a template. With on-prem Exchange you can do it via Exchange Scripting Agent.

  15. Allow Teams VTC Instructions to be editable

Allow Teams VTC Instructions to be editable by the Administrator. currently the text that is shown on Teams Meetings is hard coded by Microsoft. This should accept the ability to use HTML to change the wording, and instructions to be more clear for individual company needs

  16. Give customers more advance notice when the Office 365 URLs and IP addresses are going to be updated.

    Hello,

It is very difficult for customers (especially in the government space) to quickly make changes to their networking and firewalls when we update the O365 URLs and IP addresses. We have given customers several ways to monitor these changes (RSS, Web Service, Flow, Rest API Search, script, etc.), but they need more advance notice when we are going to change something.

Here is some direct customer feedback:
Microsoft is making an endpoint change and is expecting the customer to automate everything on their side to implement that change on the fly (firewall, routes, etc.) In our environment the network…

  17. Please reduce the sync delay between Outlook to OWA

Any changes from Outlook calendar take 2-3 minutes to reflect. Can you please reduce the sync interval to a shorter time?

  18. Azure Dynamic Groups Licensing Reprocess PowerShell cmdlet

Please add a new PowerShell cmdlet to reprocess a group for Azure Dynamic Group based licensing. When transitioning from a direct assigned license over to azure dynamic group based licensing, there is no reprocess cmdlet on the group. Everything else can be scripted to transition the licenses over to Azure Dynamic Group based Licensing, except for reprocessing the group. We have transitioned about 10 out of 60 groups, and each time we have to login to the portal and click the reprocess button.

  19. Add native Outlook contact to Outlook phone app

Hello, I am using outlook since 2004 and have thousands of them. No other contact app is fully compatible to outlook contacts when factoring categories and various fields. The way we have it set up in or business, many contacts are companies; in the individual company contact we have various personal in various fields according to their position in the company. Due to that, Outlook contacts never did a good job integrating into Google or iPhone contacts. Back in the days, I even got a Windows phone hoping it will provide a good integration with Outlook contacts. It did not.

  20. Interface to receive/send fax messages using Skype for Business Online Service Numbers

There are several ideas on the fax topic, but non is requesting a "native Office 365 cloud fax solution" for incoming/outgoing fax messages using Skype for Business Online service numbers.

Even in 2018 the capability to send/receive fax messages using a local phone number is important to many businesses. Third-Party solutions have a requirement to keep Exchange on-premises in use and there run Exchange in Hybrid Mode, or provide cloud fax not offering a local phone number.

Providing an Office 365 integrated solution with the capability to assign different local (per city, per country) service numbers would enhance the service.…
